Hey! We’re looking for a Digital Project Manager (Freelance) to join our team in London, to oversee day-to-day project work across a number of clients.

MakeBuild is an award-winning web design, build and optimisation studio and Webflow Premium Partner (Enterprise). From our base at Somerset House in central London, our team of 25 designers and developers delivers web and brand experiences for marketing teams at companies like Sky, Typeform and Darktrace.

We're looking for a Digital Project Manager to join the team and shape how we deliver excellence as we scale. You'll work with great brands on complex web projects, ensuring seamless delivery.

About the role

We’re looking for a confident, highly organized Project Manager with a hunger for creating industry-leading work. You bring strong experience in project and client management, with a track record of implementing processes that keep teams running smoothly.

• Build long-term relationships bridging MakeBuild, clients, and vendors
• Oversee large-scale website projects from discovery to launch, managing tasks and backlogs across multiple clients
• Report on progress, blockers, risks, and budgets to keep projects on track

Essential

• 2–4 years studio experience in a similar role
• A track record of managing large scale web design and build projects
• Thrive when juggling multiple projects simultaneously
• A proactive communication-focused approach to client liaison
• A warm and nurturing approach to team management
• Technology-first mindset, always looking to streamline and automate

Nice to have:

• Understanding of technical SEO and growth/optimization
• Working knowledge of Webflow
